Join Ron Christie, UNH Cooperative Extension Education Center team member for an insightful discussion about organic vegetable gardening. Jeremy will give an overview of the most important management decisions for growing a successful organic garden. Topics will include nurturing healthy soils, fertility options, cover cropping, composting, timing of seeding and transplanting, season extension, weed control and pest management. About the presenter. Ron Christie is passionate about teaching people how to grow their own food. His workshops are designed to teach you how to grow your own nutritious food for better health and well-being. Ron is an avid four-season grower and the Master Gardener Coordinator in Rockingham County as well as a member of the UNH Cooperative Extension Education Center Team. He runs Living Earth Farm, a certified organic vegetable and fruit micro-farm in Brookline, NH.
