“Shadows Fall North” is a documentary film on New Hampshire African American history which focuses on the efforts of two dedicated historic preservationists and activists, Valerie Cunningham of Portsmouth and JerriAnne Boggis of Milford, to recover the stories of people who have been rendered nearly invisible in the historical record. A panel discussion, including featured historian JerriAnne Boggis and the filmmakers Nancy and Brian Vawter of Atlantic Media Productions, will follow a screening of the film. This event was made possible with support from New Hampshire Humanities and the Center for the Humanities at UNH. Event is free and open to the public. Warner Town Hall, 5 E. Main Street, Warner, NH.
