Christmas at The Fells Decorator Showhouse 2024

Christmas at The Fells returns in 2024 and we are thrilled to hold this wonderful celebration. Christmas comes early to the John Hay Estate at The Fells each year with our Decorator Showhouse. Come and tour The Fells Main House this November and get inspired for the holidays! Professional interior designers, floral artists, decorators and talented volunteers use their personal sense of style and interpretation of Christmas cheer to transform the gorgeous historic home to create this one-of-a-kind Christmas Showhouse.

The decorated house is open Weekdays, 12 - 4 pm and Weekends 10 am - 4 pm from Saturday, November 2nd through Sunday, November 10th. Tickets are $25 for Adults and $8 for children (under 5 are free.) Tickets may be purchased at the door or online. Purchase your ticket on-line before November 1st and save $5 per adult. Tickets are valid for admission at any time, no reservations are necessary for a tour or for lunch in our Café.

On weekends, tour-goers can enjoy a scrumptious lunch in our Dining Room Café. Also open to our guests is our Holiday Gift Boutique, where we have assembled the finest regional artisans for an unparalleled shopping experience.

Are you in need of a new Christmas tree? Look no further, buy Raffle Tickets for a chance to win our wildly popular, fully decorated Balsam Hill Christmas Tree. Buy tickets online by clicking the button at the top of this page; five for $20. The raffle will be pulled on Sunday, 11/10 which is the last day of CATF!

Plan your picture with Santa. For just $35 your family can come in a special door to Santa’s Workshop and visit with Santa himself! Our Fells Elf and photographer will take your picture and you will receive at least three digital images or maybe more, if your child is nice rather than naughty! Use those priceless images for your holiday card, keepsake frames, and so much more. Appointments are limited and are every 15 minutes so that you have private time with Santa and there will be no waiting in line because you have pre-booked and paid for your appointment. The Showhouse kicks off with the Preview Party on Friday, November 1st, 5:30-7:30pm. Enjoy holiday cheer, music, and appetizers at this Roaring Twenties-themed party. Mingle with Showhouse Designers and be the first to shop the boutique. You won't want to miss this magical evening! Reservations are required. $100 per person includes 1 return ticket per person to tour the house during the day. Consider purchasing a Merry Mistletoe Sponsor level ticket for $250 that includes 3 return tickets per person and a listing as a Sponsor for CATF.

Tour the House, Saturday, November 2nd through Sunday, November 10th. See the historic John Hay Estate decorated by our favorite designers, stagers, and florists. Get inspired with the best of holiday decorating.

SOLD OUT - Gather Your Girlfriends for Ladies Night, Wednesday, November 6th, 6-8pm. This event is an important fundraising event for our beloved Estate. Enjoy cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, and dessert while viewing the beautifully decorated historical Main House with multiple opportunities to win some incredible raffle prizes from local businesses. We offer a Snow Queen ticket for $100 that includes VIP early access (5:30pm admission) to Sip and Shop with unique outside vendors and 2 additional Grand Raffle tickets, and 2 return tickets to Christmas at the Fells. Standard tickets are $55 per person. This event is SOLD OUT !

Ladies we have another opportunity to gather with friends and transform your Chaos to Calm for the holidays; Join us Thursday, November 7 from 6-8pm. For an unforgettable evening of inspiration & creativity moderated by Kate Sullivan, the charismatic host of "New Hampshire Life.” Gain insights from top experts on how to design, organize, and inspire your life. Sip & Taste: Enjoy delightful beverages and delicious bites as you mingle with like-minded individuals. Don’t miss this chance to rejuvenate your spirit and find your calm amidst the chaos. Join us Friday for Family Night, November 8th, 6-8pm. This family friendly event will spark your holiday spirit with a variety of delightful activities in the Pavilion and offer an opportunity for families to tour the house. The Kearsarge Chorale (www.kearsargechorale.org) will be performing in the main house and encouraging you to join in at the Pavilion with holiday favorites. Children are invited to decorate cookies, create holiday ornaments and enjoy hot chocolate in front of the fireplace. Tickets are $20 if you sign up in advance before November 1st or $25 at the door for families (2 adults, 2 children)!
