JOSA Jazz on a Sunday Afternoon
Back Bay Transit (BBT) is a fresh and unique musical group currently working the New England region. Comprised of seven top-notch musicians, they perform a blend of music classics from the genres of funk, rock, pop, and jazz. The Back Bay Transit sound features female and male vocalists with 3-part harmonies. Their instruments include keyboards, bass, drums, guitar, and a horn section with multiple saxes and trumpet. With exceptional horn arrangements and original renditions, they cover artists that include Aretha Franklin, Alannah Miles, Steely Dan, Grover Washington Jr., Kiki Dee, Billy Preston, and Bill Withers to name a few.
Performing rain or shine in the Pavilion. Bring your favorite beverage and a picnic and enjoy the sounds of this amazing group. Members/Non-members: $35. Advance registration is requested but walk-ins are welcome.
