If it's early May, we are in the middle of the great spring bird migration. Our summer residents are arriving and scoping out nesting locations while birds heading further north are passing through, giving us a unique opportunity to see some of our rarer visitors. Join local expert Peter Newbern for an early morning bird walk learning some tricks about how to identify bird songs and calls by interpreting what it seems like they are singing, followed by a chance to hear and see some of the various neo-tropical birds returning to NH and to habitats further north. This is an easy to moderate walk around the grounds of The Fells.
